Lanarkshire sex attacker guilty of string of charges

A violent Lanarkshire sex attacker traumatised his victim during a harrowing ordeal that spanned several years.

Former roofing firm boss Roy Clark – who confessed to being a "womaniser" – denied the charges against him during a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.

Following proceedings, Clark, of Rutherglen, was found guilty of seven charges including rape, sexual, indecent and physical assault.
