Talented snap-happy photographers were given a well earned moment in the spotlight.
The Airdrie and Coatbridge Photographic Club held its annual competitions recognising the very best of its members’ work over the past year.
Coming out on top were terrific trio Matt Gallagher, Will White and Stephen Simaitis.
A spokesman for the club told Lanarkshire Live : “We wish to congratulate Matt, Will and Stephen on their success; all three took stunning pictures.
“But the standard of images provided by all of our members continues to be incredibly high and many of them were worthy of honours.
“Our annual competitions are always a highlight of the year and the judges have a great time getting to look through all of the fabulous photographs.”
The club, which was formed in 1998, is also on the hunt for new members looking to develop their photographic skills.
The sessions take place every Tuesday at 7.30pm.
The club spokesperson said: “You can chat to friends, listen to speakers, show your photographs, look at other members’ pictures and enter competitions with other clubs.
“The club gives people the chance to share their passion for photography and pick up tips and advice on how to capture interesting images.
“We welcome new members to join our club and would love to see as many new faces as possible.”
Anyone wishing to join the club can do so by visiting its website or emailing Martyn Morrison.
