A Lanarkshire Slimming World consultant is weighing up her success stories as she celebrates a decade with the company.
Jennifer Stevens remains in her "hugely rewarding role" 10 years after starting her first group in her home town of Coatbridge.
She began her Slimming World journey as a member to lose "unwanted pounds".
But, she loved the organisation's healthy eating plan and group support so much that she launched her own sessions to allow her to "help others gain the same success that I had enjoyed".
Mum Jennifer told Lanarkshire Live : "It has been an amazing 10 years since I began running my own groups.
"There is no better feeling than helping and supporting my members to achieve their weight loss goals and it makes me so proud to see the amazing results the achieve.
"The members give each other so much support, inspiration and motivation each week. The groups are such a warm and friendly place with no judgement; just care and understanding.
"I love my job and the happiness and confidence that it brings to so many people."
Over the past decade Jennifer, 46, has helped thousands of men and women reach their target weight.
She said: "I love what I do, it's as simple as that.
"I encourage members who reach their personal target weight to continue to attend group free of charge, to share their experiences, top tips and inspiration with the rest of the group.
"My members tell me that joining our group and losing weight without feeling hungry or deprived has been life changing for them and to think that Margaret Miles Bramwell had this vision over 53 years ago to start up Slimming World is just amazing.
"Nothing is banned at Slimming World. Our liberating 'food optimising plan' allows you to eat as much as you want and its 'free food' gives you the power to eat a surprisingly large volume of food for significantly fewer calories, which means you can lose weight beautifully without going hungry."
Jennifer who now runs two groups, on Thursday and Saturday mornings at St James' Chapel hall in Coatbridge, trained in all aspects of nutrition and the psychology of losing weight at Slimming World's National Training Academy in Derbyshire.
She said: "Slimming World are such a fantastic company to work for; they have been so supportive, even more so during the pandemic.
"In Scotland, two in three (66 per cent) adults are living with overweight or obesity. The pandemic has been difficult for everyone and there are even more people now struggling with their weight.
"Lots of people want to lose weight but often they don't know how or where to turn for help. My groups are open and running as normal.
"There is no need for booking in; you just turn up at the start time. New members and old friends are so very welcome."
Jennifer added: "Over the years we have raised thousands of pounds for our local St Andrew's Hospice, Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support as well as regularly donated to Coatbridge Community Foodbank.
"My members love the fundraising and donating all the clothes they slim out of to our local Cancer Research shop.
"I became a consultant because I was passionate about helping others to lose weight and I couldn't wait to get started; I remember it like it was yesterday.
"Time has flown by and I have loved every minute. I adore my groups and all of my members."
