East Kilbride MSP Collette Stevenson has as re-opened her constituency office in the town to constituents following the easing of pandemic restrictions.
Since the parliamentary election last year, the MSP and her staff have followed COVID restrictions and worked from home, using digital platforms and phone calls to communicate with constituents.
Changes have been made to the office where plastic screens have been installed between desks and the waiting area, whilst staff worked on a rota basis to cover phone enquiries.
Appointments were made available for those who required it, either in the office or at their home if necessary.
Ms Stevenson told Lanarkshire Live : "I’m glad to be able to open my office to the public for the first time since last year’s parliamentary election.
"Whilst appointments have been made available for those in need, the office up until now has always been closed, in line with restrictions. My team however have been on hand to deal with telephone enquiries and any post received.
“My office at 1-3 Strathmore House is open Monday to Friday, 10-12 and 2-4pm.
"Appointments can be made in advance, with drop-in appointments welcomed, where possible.
"It goes without saying that I ask folk are cautious – if they display COVID symptoms, they should either self-isolate or take a lateral flow test."
