Lanarkshire high school announces new 2022/23 Leadership Team

St John Ogilvie High school in Hamilton are delighted to announce their new school leadership team for session 2022/23.

After a competitive and thorough application process 13 senior school pupils have emerged as leaders.

A further four pupils were appointed as C.A.R.E Ambassadors who will lead the way with a clear focus on Commitment, Ambition, Resilience and Equality and Jon Turner will lead on matters relating to supporting all aspects of young people's learning.

The C.A.R.E team for the year ahead is made up of students Chloe McLaughlin, Niamh Jamieson, Jon Turner, Abbie Talent and Elle Talent.

Pupils Fili Samuel and Jacob Duffy are this year's Head Girl and Head Boy who will be supported by their leadership team of Chloe Fullerton, Cadia Jaconelli and Orla Halligan in the Depute Head Girls role with Carson Paul, Callum Tyrell and Nicholas Fraser as Depute Head Boys.

School head teacher Lorna Lawson said: "The school wishes to congratulate the newly appointed leaders who have made a great start this term and we look forward to working together at St John Ogilvie High School in the year ahead."
