Residents and staff at a Lanarkshire care home have helped refugees fleeing Ukraine after holding a successful appeal.
Rutherglen Care Home posted on their social media for items to help people caught up in the Ukraine conflict and found themselves swamped with donations.
In just three days they managed to fill two very large van loads full of essential supplies that will be transported to refugees from the ongoing conflict in Eastern Europe - and they even packed in several bottles of Scotland's other national drink, Irn Bru.
