Lanarkshire butcher wins three golden prizes at Scottish Craft Butchers Awards

Scottish Craft Butchers Fergusons Lanarkshire Gold Balmoral Airdrie

A Lanarkshire butcher winged its way home from a top industry awards ceremony with a meaty triple golden success.

Fergusons of Airdrie scooped the highest honour for its delicious chicken tikka wellington, Balmoral wellington and pepper pattie products at the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards.

As well as the three gold prizes, the Buchanan Street business also secured silver from judges for its chicken tikka calzone in the awards' evaluation for naked steak and gourmet pastry products.
