Trusted employees at a Lanarkshire bingo branch are set to bag a full house – as it becomes the country’s largest employee-owned firm.
Carlton Bingo's East Kilbride branch has 15 employees and is part of the 10-venue chain that has made the move to employee ownership following a positive rebound after the challenges and closures brought about by the pandemic.
The firm has now put its shares into an Employee Ownership Trust [EOT], which will see its staff given a controlling stake in the business.
