Lamar Odom says he experienced ‘afterlife’ in new documentary about overdose and addiction

• Former NBA star Lamar Odom is getting candid about his struggle with addiction and a near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in a new documentary.
• “I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks,” Odom says in a trailer for Netflix’s Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.
• Featuring 911 calls and body camera footage from his overdose, Odom opens up in the documentary about his crippling addiction and mission to get clean.
• “The afterlife is not what people make it out to be,” he says in the trailer, which was released Tuesday.
• Odom’s episode of the sports documentary series is set to be released on Netflix on March 31, featuring interviews with Odom, his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian, and a former manager of the Love Ranch, among others.
