The Ravens will need Lamar Jackson to be healthy and available to win a Super Bowl. After having to exit Wednesday’s practice due to feeling lethargic, the team announced that the reigning NFL MVP will miss Friday’s practice, his fourth missed training camp.
Friday is expected to be the Ravens’ first full padded practice.
QB Lamar Jackson remains sidelined with an illness and will not practice today. He continues to undergo further evaluation and receive care from our medical team.

Baltimore has dealt with Jackson being ill in the past, as the quarterback has missed at least one practice in his seven NFL seasons due to being sick. This time, it’s different and a little unsettling.
Jackson, the 2023 NFL MVP, threw for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns and ran for 821 yards and five scores. He helped the Baltimore Ravens (13-4) finish with the best record in the league and led them to a playoff win over Houston.
