With his five-touchdown performance in a 56-19 routing of the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson may have wrapped up the second MVP award of his career at the age of 26.
Jackson’s odds now sit at -20,000 on DraftKings Sportsbook, making him far and away the betting favorite to win the award with just one game remaining in the regular season. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is the runner-up at +1800 with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy in third place at +3000.
Jackson posted a perfect passer rating of 158.3 against the Dolphins, the third of his career.
Lamar Jackson completed 18 of 21 passes for 321 yards, 5 touchdowns, and a +28.2 passing EPA against the Dolphins in Week 17.
Jackson’s +28.2 passing EPA is the most by a QB in a game since Joe Burrow’s +34.1 EPA against the Ravens in Week 16, 2021.

“He played a perfect football game in terms of the passing game,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said.
“He makes plays like no one else, and he’s definitely the MVP,” running back Justice Hill said.
“That guy is different,” safety Geno Stone said. “Every day I get to watch in practice, watch him go to work, see his habits. No doubt he’s the best in the league. No doubt he’s the MVP.”
Jackson will finish the regular season with 29 total touchdowns and 4,499 total yards if he does not suit up against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Saturday. His 3,678 passing yards and 67.2 completion percentage are both career bests for the sixth-year quarterback.
