When Derrick Henry signed his offseason contract with the Ravens, it gave him an opportunity to play alongside an elite quarterback for the first time in his career. We’re only a month into that Lamar Jackson-Derrick Henry partnership, but it’s clear that the chemistry is already in a great place.
NFL Films released mic’d-up video from Sunday night’s game between the Bills and Ravens that showed the kind of dynamic the two stars have. By this point, Henry had already broken out an 87-yard touchdown run. And he turned to Jackson to tell him that he was great.
Jackson’s response, though, was too good.
