Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis will return to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, as first reported by Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Davis will be on a minutes restriction, which is understandable given the MCL sprain he is coming off from. He injured the MCL on Dec. 17 against the Minnesota Timberwolves and hasn’t played since.
All signs pointed to Davis’ return during this six-game road trip when the Lakers listed him as questionable against the Miami Heat on Sunday. Then Davis was bumped to probable before the Nets contest.
Davis is expected to start at the 5, and LeBron James should be his frontcourt partner.
