The Lakers enter the 2023-24 NBA season with high expectations but still a lot to prove after being swept by the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals last year. And following Denver's championship run, and an offseason filled with the Nuggets opting to take random shots at LeBron James and company, the future Hall-of-Famer finally responded.
When speaking to the media, James was asked about the Nuggets and all the offseason chatter they made pointed toward the Lakers, including Vic Lombardi calling head coach Mike Malone the Lakers' "daddy."
James said cryptically, "There will be a time where everybody will get it."
