A blueprint for protecting Queensland’s slice of the wild rivers and floodplains of the Lake Eyre Basin while limiting oil and gas development has been opened for public consultation.

The Regulatory Impact Statement for the Queensland Lake Eyre Basin released on Friday was welcomed by environmental campaigners.
