During my three-day stay at Angsana, I enjoyed the soothing vista of tropical landscapes and serene lagoons from the balcony of the Laguna Room. It was a 40m² standard-sized guest room with window walls.
To create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the bedroom is brightly adorned with royal Thai purple furnishings, and a classic fresh fruit tart with French macarons is served in the cosy sitting area where guests can spend their breezy evenings relaxing and unwinding
The bathroom is smart and has a space-efficient shower bath with a collection of jasmine-based shampoo, hair conditioner and shower gel that made my dry skin and frizzy hair smoother and softer.
Dining
From 4pm to 10pm, ATOLL serves Asian contemporary cuisine with innovative drinks such as the signature cocktail Red Diamond, spicy pork scratchings with yuzu mayo, koji-cured egg yolks with salmon and apples, salt and pepper squid with Sriracha mayo, and leche flan with burnt mango.

Drawing inspiration from this romantic, warm atmosphere and good memories in Laguna Phuket, Labanoon's vocalist and guitarist Metee Arun wrote a special love song titled Our Place and performed it at ATOLL for the first time.

In a peaceful and idyllic setting, Angsana Spa offers a refreshing blend of treatments with the use of native ingredients, including fresh flowers and fruits to rejuvenate and invigorate the body, mind and spirit.
After working overnight, I had the signature body massage to lull my tense muscles and improve my sleep pattern. During the treatment, a blend of Western and Eastern massage techniques with the use of sweet Euphoria oil helped enhance my flexibility, unblock pain and stiffness in my back, and promote inner peace.
Leisure Experience
Angsana offers a whole range of land and water activities to bring joy and happiness in one place.
In the morning, guests can briefly explore this entire resort by cycling across parkland and tropical lagoons. Alternatively, they can engage in a cooking class to discover Angsana chefs' secrets behind traditional Thai dishes.
In the afternoon, guests can enjoy water sports at the resort's lagoons such as sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. I did try wind-surfing and found it amusing to wait for the wind to blow me away from the shore.
Verdict
Laguna Phuket provides a variety of fun recreational activities and water sports on its tranquil beach, making it ideal for families with small kids to create good memories and experience "an Island within an Island" paradise.
This resort is also the best option for voyagers who aspire to go on a spiritual journey and satisfy their cravings for authentic local delights.
