Mateusz Bogusz has revealed his interest in a potential transfer to Celtic after a late summer move from Los Angeles FC fell through.
The 23-year-old midfielder was in negotiations with the Scottish giants, but any agreement could not be completed before the transfer deadline, prompting Celtic to sign Arne Engles and Luke McCowan instead.
Following his debut for Poland in a UEFA Nations League match against Croatia last Sunday, his father, Piotr, suggested that a return to Europe might be on the horizon for Bogusz.
Despite this option continuing to be mooted, the player is concentrating on his responsibilities with LAFC for the remainder of the season.
This situation could, however, allow Celtic to pursue a January transfer once the MLS campaign concludes.

"Of course I knew about that," Bogusz explained as he addressed reporters ahead of the league clash against city rivals LA Galaxy.
"I just try to not get involved in this situation, I was focussed on playing for LAFC.
"There was possible movement for me, but at the end of the day I stayed here and I am very happy. I am looking to finish the season in first place (in the Western Conference) and get to the final, and win the final. That is all I can say about this situation."
