People are convinced Lady Gaga snubbed Caitlyn Jenner when they ran into each other at the Oscars.
The pair were caught on video chatting outside the Elton John AIDS Foundation's Academy Awards viewing party in West Hollywood, but people are convinced Gaga was desperate to get away.
The clip of their 'awkward' chat quickly went viral on Twitter, with people claiming singer Gaga, 36, was trying to give the former Olympian and Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 72, the cold shoulder.
Caitlyn, dressed in a black top and red skirt, was seen walking up to Gaga before the start of the red carpet.
Gaga, dressed in an elaborate white strapless gown was surrounded by an entourage of people, including Sir Elton's husband David Furnish, who appeared to be waiting for the interaction to end so they could get on with whatever they were doing.
Caitlyn was heard asking Gaga: "Are you spending time around Malibu anymore?"
Gaga simply answered: "Yes", to which Caitlyn asked: "Oh you're still out there?"
"Yes," Gaga simply answers once more.
Caitlyn points out that she hasn't seen Gaga in their local Starbucks for a while, and things get awkward as Gaga stumbles over her response, saying: "Well, I've... I've switched baristas."
Gaga then turned and started walking away, with David stepping in to end the conversation by saying: "Good seeing you, Caitlyn."
Ending things on her terms, Caitlyn spoke over David to say "Well good seeing you", before walking away herself.
People on Twitter were convinced Gaga was trying to avoid chatting to Caitlyn.
One shared a picture of a petrified Sydney Sweeney hiding in the bathroom in an episode of Euphoria and added: "Gaga hiding from Caitlyn Jenner at their local Starbucks".
A second shared a gif of Victoria Beckham running to hide after spotting someone, writing: "Lady Gaga spotting Caitlyn Jenner at Starbucks".
While another suggested: "By my count there are 5 Starbucks in Malibu. Gaga got 3 more Caitlyn dodge moves".
"Caitlyn… Gaga don’t like your ass," one tweeted.
And one joked: "Well Gaga's performance in this video should have won all of the Oscar's. She acted like she actually didn't mind Caitlyn talking to her."
The Mirror has contacted Gaga's representatives for comment.
