Labour Wins General Election, Keir Starmer To Become Prime Minister

Labour has secured a parliamentary majority with 326 seats, paving the way for Keir Starmer to become the next prime minister. The outgoing PM and Conservative Party leader, Rishi Sunak, conceded defeat, acknowledging the Labour Party's victory in this general election.

This historic moment marks the end of the Conservatives' 14-year rule in Britain, as Labour takes power for the first time since 1997. The turnaround in fortunes is remarkable, considering the Tories' decisive victory just five years ago.
