A Labour government would work with a far-right administration in France to tackle the “small boats” Channel crisis if it wins elections on Sunday, one of Sir Keir Starmer’s top allies said on Wednesday.
Pat McFadden, Labour’s National Campaign Co-ordinator, said if his party wins the July 4 election as polls suggest it will deal with whoever is in charge in France to address joint challenges.
