A senior minister has refused to rule out Andy Burnham taking the UK back into the European Union without a second Brexit referendum.

The prime minister said on Wednesday he would look at the “pros and cons” of all options surrounding the UK’s future relationship with Brussels and said he could go “all the way” and rejoin the European Union.
