La Liga's president wants Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Spain.
The future of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been one of the major talking points at United this transfer window. Ronaldo was pictured driving into Carrington on Tuesday, along with agent Jorge Mendes, ahead of talks with Erik ten Hag over his future at United.
Ronaldo was absent during the club's pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, citing family reasons for missing the four friendly matches. Ronaldo has yet to feature under Ten Hag but the Dutchman was adamant that Ronaldo would feature in his plans.

Speaking during the tour, Ten Hag said: "We are planning for Cristiano Ronaldo for the season and that's it and I'm looking forward to working with him. I have read but what I say is Cristiano is not for sale."
However, the latest update has come from La Liga where their president, Javier Tebas, has had his say on where he wants Ronaldo to play his football next season.
Tebas said : "I would like to see Cristiano Ronaldo in La Liga again. Whether it is feasible or not for Atletico Madrid, I do not know. There would have to be some player departures if they wanted to [sign him]. To sign a player of that level, you must make room [financially]."
