KYOGO FURUHASHI has set himself a target of more than 20 goals in his second season at Celtic.
The Japanese international scored 20 times in all competitions last term but is looking to improve on his goal haul this time round.
It comes after the striker went close on a couple of occasions to his first strike of the new season against Aberdeen.
But he was unable to get off the mark as he sent narrowly wide with a sliding effort in the first period.
However, Stephen Welsh and Jota were on target to get Celtic off to a winning start at Parkhead yesterday.
"I want to score more than 20 goals, focus on what's in front of me and keep getting results, which is my appeal as a forward," said Kyogo of his goals when speaking to Japanese outlet juji.com.
Further reflecting on the match, he added: "We have to be able to make up our minds, we have to peel another skin or two."
After the win, Ange Postecoglou urged his side to be more clinical.
He commented: “It was a solid performance, but we were just wasteful in front of goal. I was disappointed because I thought we could have been a lot more clinical
“Sometimes you can fall into the trap of knowing we will create loads of opportunities and because of that you are not as focused as you should be.
“My view is we are creating opportunities so let’s take as many as we can.”
