Ange Postecoglou will reportedly turn to Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi as he plots for life at Tottenham without Harry Kane.
The frontman has enjoyed a remarkable season at Parkhead and has been crowned SFWA and PFA Scotland Player of the Year after hitting 34 goals this season including in the Scottish Cup Final against Inverness Caley Thistle - helping the Hoops claim a historic Treble. The 28-year-old still has two years left on his current Celtic deal but a potential move for Postecoglou to the English Premier League could set the wheels in motion for a deal.
After claiming a third trophy of the campaign, the 57-year-old is expected to take on the job in north London with Tottenham chief Daniel Levy expected to move quickly to bring the Australian south of the border. Postecoglou's first job could be convincing England captain Kane to remain at the club next term.
The Sun report that Kyogo is seen as "a partner, cover or even eventual replacement" for Kane. It is claimed that Celtic would demand around "£25-30million to make him a major capture" for Spurs this summer.
