Kyogo admits it is an 'honour' to play alongside fellow countryman and Celtic star Reo Hatate.
The striker, who has hit 20-plus goals so far this season, admits he is pleased to hear he is being touted for the Hoops' Player of the Year award but revealed that playing alongside on-form Hatate is a real honour. The two Japanese stars have been central to Ange Postecoglou's success this season in league action, with a points difference of nine points over rivals Rangers in their plight to retain the trophy.
And who has been the best in green and white is a question that the 28-year-old admits is tough to answer, but that he would name Hatate as one of the most talented at Parkhead. Kyogo also heaped praise on Celtic's defensive team, while mentioning captain Callum McGregor among the contenders.

He said: “Thank you for saying I may be a contender for the award. I’m very humble. But Reo is a versatile, hard-working and talented player. I’m just honoured to be in the same team as him.
“And we have so many talented players which helps us prepare for every game we have.
“Who would I choose as Player of the Year right now? I could say Joe Hart, Callum McGregor, Cameron Carter-Vickers – there are so many, I couldn’t decide.
"I just focus on playing well, scoring goals and contributing to the team. I genuinely just enjoy football, I don’t think about other things.”
