Kyogo Furuhashi rinses Celtic teammate Reo Hatate as cheeky striker calls out 'nervous' pal live on air

Smirking Kyogo Furuhashi took a couple of cheeky digs at Celtic pal Reo Hatate as he labelled him "nervous" during an on-air interview in Japan.

Hatate was appearing on football variety show Yabecchi Stadium to talk about life at Parkhead so far.

The midfielder has made his mark in Glasgow's east end after just six months playing a key role in the Scottish Premiership title victory.

However, as he spoke about living in Scotland a video message from his Celtic teammate was screened.

Laughing Kyogo said: "Reo, are you getting nervous as usual while talking? You've got this!"

The smiling striker went on: "I don't know if he's the nervous type but if you keep teasing him his (good) personality comes out.

"He has a certain way of walking. Everyone imitates it and that gets a laugh out of him.

"At first I didn't know what kind of person he was, but he's fun to talk to, fun to play with. He's an adorable teammate."

Hatate played off the comments adding: "We don't really talk that much so when he talks about teasing me I'm a little surprised!

"I feel like maybe that's a side of Kyogo I haven't seen and I have to draw that out more."
