Kyogo Furuhashi has been named Scottish Football Writers' Association Player of the Year.
The Celtic striker becomes the second Japanese star to land the coveted prize as he follows in the footsteps of former Parkhead favourite Shunsuke Nakamura. The attacker has had a stunning campaign in front of goal with his double against Aberdeen on trophy day at Parkhead taking his tally overall to 33 goals in all competitions.
The Hoops still have one more game to go in the shape of the Scottish Cup Final as they bid to land a domestic Treble under Ange Postecoglou with the Scottish Premiership crown and the League Cup trophy both safely in the trophy cabinet in Glasgow's east end.

Kyogo was the big winner in Celtic's own awards scooping his own treble that night while he also landed the PFA Scotland gong to add to his personal collection.
He beat competition from team-mates Cameron Carter-Vickers and Callum McGregor as well as Kevin van Veen to land the top award - which he will be presented at the annual dinner later this evening.
Association President Chick Young said: “The voting for our player of the year was very tight.
“Callum McGregor and Van Veen had sensational seasons… but the fact that Kyogo Furuhashi went beyond them underlines how good he has been.
“He is some player. A will of the wisp with an ability to see space where there seems to be none.
“A worthy addition to a list that goes all the way back to Billy McNeill.”
