Ange Postecoglou has given Kyogo the all clear to face Aberdeen this weekend and Rangers in next week's Viaplay Cup Final.
The Hoops' top scorer went off early in the first half against St Mirren and after he missed a chunk of last season with injury, that sparked fears he could be set for another lengthy layoff. Daizen Maeda took up his role as central striker and got the scoring started minutes later while Hyeongyu Oh came off the bench to net his first in green and white.
However, he now looks set to be fit to take his place at Hampden on February 26 after he was pictured in training ahead of Celtic facing Aberdeen in the league on Saturday. Postecoglou said: “Kyogo is fine, he trained today and had a session yesterday, so he is good to go."
