Pat Nevin believes Kyogo Furuhashi's Celtic performances will have English Premier League tongues wagging - and that the forward may be one of the club's best ever players.
The Japanese forward has been a revelation since arriving from Vissel Kobe last summer, and despite suffering injury issues, has scored 26 times in 39 matches, netting six in as many games this term. His latest test is one of his toughest, facing Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Former Scotland international and Chelsea winger Nevin believes the Hoops won't be thrashed in the match against the European champions, with Kyogo the key to it and Matt O'Riley also being highlighted for praise. But so good has his form been, the 58-year-old believes Kyogo is on a path to Celtic greatness and many top clubs down south will be watching. Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, Nevin says that the Japanese star is someone he loves watching.

He said: "As soon as I saw Kyogo Furuhashi, I couldn't stop myself from saying that he is one of the best players I've seen come into Celtic.
"His energy is incredible and he's a natural goalscorer. He is the one player from Scotland that all the top English clubs will be watching.
"I've been really surprised by Matt O'Reilly too. He's improved massively, but the key player will be Kyogo. I don't think it will be a walk-over for Real Madrid."
