Kym Marsh appeared overwhelmed with joy as she was given a surprise message while appearing on Good Morning Britain. The actress was on the programme to chat about her current starring role in Take That musical Greatest Days.
Last month, former Coronation Street star Kym returned to home turf as she stars alongside her daughter Emilie, 25 in the new production of the hit musical - both playing the same character as "young Rachel" in her teens and present-day Rachel in her 40s.
Kym and Emilie took to the stage in Manchester where they performed for two week sin the hit Take That musical before moving on to other towns and cities across the county as fans of the boyband lap up hearing their hits on stage with a moving story about four women who reunite after 25 years to fulfill their dream of seeing the band perform.

And it was something of a Coronation Street reunion in Manchester though when the jukebox musical rolled into the city as stars past and present headed along to watch the show and cheer on Kym, who famously played Michelle Connor in the ITV soap.
Heading out were former Corrie stars Ryan Clayton and Liam Smith, who are now working alongside Kym on Waterloo Road. They were pictured at the after-party alongside Liam's real-life girlfriend and Corrie favourite Elle Mulvaney and soap stalwart Antony Cotton.
But back to now and Kym was on GMB to chat about her role in the show alongside her lookalike daughter as a bit of Take That frenzy takes over after Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald launched their new film, of the same name, during a premiere on Thursday evening.
And as she shared her joy at being part of the production and getting to work with Emilie who she said is her 'best friend' as well as her daughter, hosts Ben Shepherd and Kate Garraway pulled out a surprise. They had asked Gary about Kym on the purple carpet and the singer couldn't have sung her praises more.
He said: "I love Kym. She's been not just a great actress within the musical, she's been a great leader. I think everyone looks up to her in the case and she's been wonderful. We really appreciate her being in our show. She's been brilliant."
Returning to Kym, who was live via video link from Sheffield, she was beaming as she said: "Ah, that's really gorgeous. I'm delighted. Look at that. My parents will be really proud now," she laughed.
As Ben suggested the message from Gary, and its contents, was "really special", a slightly coy Kym commented: "That's hugely... wow. That's incredible. Thank you, Gary. That's made my day. I'm going to go to work with a spring in my step this morning."
