Kylie Minogue has dropped new single My Oh My featuring Tove Lo and Bebe Rexha days after hinting of the collaboration.
Steve Mac, who has collaborated with Calvin Harris, Little Mix, the Saturdays, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, and Pink, produced the song.
Over an enticing pop beat, the three vocalists alternately deliver lighthearted rhymes about their zodiac signs: "When you asked, 'What's your name?' / 'What's your sign?' I'm Kylie, it's Gemini."
Minogue also raised smiles this week when she predicted “it’s coming home” for the England football team when they face Spain in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday.
A series of videos that were shared on social media earlier this week gave fans a sneak peek at the track.
The identical caption and emoji were used for each clip, according to their astrological sign. Lo is a Scorpio, Minogue is a Gemini, and Rexha is a Virgo.
The Grammy winner then debuted the song on BBC Radio. Expectedly, the song will make its live debut on July 13 when Minogue headlines BST Hyde Park in London, her first live performance in the UK this year.
In the song's Lo section, she introduces herself as To-Tove Lo, pronounced somewhat incorrectly, seemingly as a reference to a well-known 2022 TikTok video that Megan Thee Stallion shared, in which the WAP rapper amusingly mimics the Swedish pop star's surname.
Minogue and Lo first collaborated in 2019 when the singer of Padam Padam made an appearance on Lo's song Really Don't Like You.
Following the release of her album Tension and the worldwide success of Padam Padam, Minogue enjoyed a prosperous 2023. She completed her More Than a Residency in Las Vegas, won a Grammy for best pop dance recording for Padam Padam, and received the Global Icon award at the BRITs.
The release of the song occurs approximately one month after Minogue made her stage debut in early June at Outloud Fest with Orville Peck's Midnight Ride. 2018 saw the release of Minogue's album Tension. I'm the Drama, released by Rexha on June 28, which coincided with Lo's recent recruitment of SG Lewis for her house-EDM EP.
