Kylie Jenner is facing a new lawsuit from a former housekeeper who alleges she endured a “toxic and abusive” work environment while employed at the reality star’s Los Angeles home.
The filing claims Kylie, 28, is legally responsible as the employer, although the bulk of the alleged behaviour is attributed to other staff rather than Kylie personally.
According to court documents filed in Los Angeles by Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, she began working as a housekeeper at Jenner’s Beverly Hills residence on 10 September 2024, before being moved about a week later to Kylie’s home in Hidden Hills. There, Vasquez says she reported to a woman named Elsi and head housekeeper Patsy, and alleges that she was “treated with hostility and exclusion” when she started her employment.
In the complaint, obtained by multiple outlets, she claims she was “subjected to severe and pervasive harassment” by supervisors and colleagues during the period she worked in the house, from September 2024 until August 2025.
Vasquez, who describes herself in the filing as a “Salvadoran woman and a practicing Catholic”, alleges she experienced “discrimination, harassment and retaliation… based on her race, national origin, religion and disability”.

She claims in the lawsuit that co-workers made “repeated discriminatory and derogatory comments” about her religion and immigration status, including alleged remarks that “Catholics are horrible people” and comments that alluded to people of her background being deported from the United States.
The complaint further alleges she was mocked over her accent, intimidated about her immigration status, and “treated as inferior because of her Salvadoran background”.
On top of the alleged comments, Vasquez claims the manner in which tasks were allocated and managed added to the distress. She claims she was “routinely assigned the most difficult and undesirable tasks” and purposely cut out of the broader housekeeping team.
According to the filing, she was “publicly belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin and religion” and was subjected to staff snapping their fingers at her, shouting at her, and forcing her to complete other people’s work. In one incident in March 2025, she alleges “a supervisor threw hangers at [her] feet while reprimanding her”, which she says marked an escalation into physical intimidation.
Vasquez also alleges there were issues around hours and expenses. In the complaint, she says she was instructed on several occasions to work at Jenner’s boyfriend’s house in Beverly Hills — understood to be Timothée Chalamet’s home — but claims she was not reimbursed for travel and other work-related costs. She further alleges she suffered a “loss of wages” after complaining about her treatment, and that she was not properly paid for all hours worked or given appropriate meal and rest breaks.

As part of the suit, she is seeking damages for “unpaid wages, emotional distress and more”, along with punitive damages and other compensation she says was unlawfully withheld.
The filing states that the conduct created a “toxic and abusive work environment” and that “no corrective action” was taken by supervisors, despite her raising concerns. Vasquez alleges that when she did complain, her workload increased and she faced “false accusations and disciplinary notices” alongside what she describes as ongoing public humiliation and hostile verbal and physical behaviour. She says she “developed anxiety, severe stress and symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder” and ultimately took medical leave in July 2025 before resigning in August 2025 because “the working conditions had become intolerable”.
Kylie is named as a defendant along with companies Tri Star Services and Maison Family Services, but is not accused in the lawsuit of personally making discriminatory comments.
As of now, the allegations remain untested in court and Kylie has not filed a response to the complaint.
