Kylie Jenner has been criticised for sharing a video of herself struggling to fit into a 'suffocating' corset after making comments about unrealistic body standards.
In the trailer for The Kardashians, Kylie said that her Kardashian-Jenner family should be looking at the unrealistic body standards they set.
The family has often been blamed for the rise in lip fillers, cosmetic surgeries and fad diets in the 2010s and beyond.
In one scene from the trailer, Kylie tells her sister: "All of us just need to have a bigger conversation about the beauty standards that we’re setting."
The mother-of-two admitted: "I don't want my daughter to do the things I did. I wish I'd never touched anything to begin with."
And now, the 25-year-old took to her Instagram to share a video of her styling team squeezing her into a tiny corset before she put on a cinched dress.
She rocked a black and white strapless Jean Paul Gaultier gown for the Met Gala afterparty.
Her waist looked unnaturally slim, achieving a dramatic hourglass shape, in the corseted floor-length dress.
Kylie completed the look with glamorous make-up and leather gloves.
Fans were disappointed in the post and took to the comment section to slam her.
"So much for thinking about the beauty standards they set SMH," one user commented.
Another said: "If it takes 8 people to get it on, it probably dosent fit," while one posted: "that outfit is holding on for dear life."
One disappointed fan wrote: "Soooo, wondering what is to be said about the beauty standards your family have and display."
"I feel bad for our girls in society what they think they should live up to," a fan added.
The makeup mogul recently hit out at claims she has had "so much surgery" as she said she has only ever had one cosmetic procedure.
Kylie said she was insecure about her lips and, so, made the decision to have lip filler.
Speaking about her choice to have lip filler recently, Kylie said she has always been a very confident person but had a small insecurity.
Kylie said: "I think a big misconception about me is that I've had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn't!
"Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone," the Kardashians star said in a new interview."
