Kylian Mbappe has posted a brilliant message to Jadon Sancho after the returning Manchester United winger helped the Old Trafford giants end their trophy hoodoo.
Goals from Casemiro and Marcus Rashford - beneath the famous Wembley arch - earned United silverware for the first time since 2017 when they defeated Newcastle on Sunday afternoon. It was a memorable occasion for Erik ten Hag and his players - yet there could be more to come this season.
After their fantastic win at the national stadium, United resume their FA Cup charge against West Ham at Old Trafford on Wednesday night (7.45pm), while they have already reached the latter stages of the Europa League and are not completely out of the Premier League title race, either.

Sancho, 22, missed a large chunk of this campaign while he attended to his physical and mental well-being. He was welcomed back into the fold at Carrington earlier in February and featured as a late sub at Wembley with United going on to complete a trophy-clinching 2-0 win over the Magpies.
In the following hours, players and staff - not to mention supporters - have celebrated what could prove to be a seismic moment for the Ten Hag reign. However, generally speaking, it is straight back to business for Sancho and his teammates with so many important matches to come across the competitions.
After the game, Sancho uploaded a picture of himself and Rashford posing with the trophy, and their Carabao Cup medals, drawing countless likes and comments from supporters. Mbappe, too, appeared in the comments section to pass on his congratulations to the former Borussia Dortmund attacker.
He wrote: "Good to see you with the smile." Mbappe added a prayer hands emoji to his response.
