The Arizona Cardinals come out of the bye week with four games to go in the season. Their first opponent in the final stretch is at home against the San Francisco 49ers.
It will be the first time in over two years that quarterback Kyler Murray will play against them.
He missed the last four meetings with injuries.
This season, in Week 4, he was still recovering from his ACL tear.
He missed both games in 2022. He had a hamstring injury in the first game and had torn his ACL before the two teams played in the regular-season finale.
And he missed the second game of the series in 2021 with an ankle injury he suffered against the Green Bay Packers.
The Cardinals went 1-3 in those four games, losing the last three.
The last time Murray played, it was in October 2021 and the Cardinals beat the 49ers 17-10. Murray had a touchdown pass in the win.
In his career, Murray is 2-3 in five career starts against the Niners with six touchdown passes and two rushing touchdowns. He has been sacked 14 times in five games.
