It is the NFL offseason but Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was spending time with some of his teammates outside of the team facility.
On Saturday night, UFC 274 was in Phoenix at Footprint Center. Murray and a few teammates attended.
Murray said hello on the UFC official social media Twitter account. He was sitting with offensive lineman Justin Pugh and tight end Zach Ertz.
Newly acquired receiver Hollywood Brown was also seen entering the arena with Murray.
Murray was wearing a Phoenix Suns cap.
In an offseason where the narrative has been focused on Murray and how he is a bad teammate and doesn’t like Arizona, this shows that some of what is out there circulating on the Internet is way off-target.
Murray is supporting his local team, as the Suns are in the NBA playoffs. He is spending time with teammates and, more importantly, is in Phoenix.
For fans worried about whether Murray is cut out to be a leader, this is the sort of things that they do in the offseason for bigger events like this.
