Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner is demanding £15 million to consider reconciling with the footballer, insiders have reportedly claimed.
The 32-year-old is said to be seeking around half of Walker's £27million fortune following his affair with influencer Lauryn Goodman.
The Manchester City and England player, who shares four children with Kilner, secretly fathered two children with Goodman.
Kilner has reportedly sought preliminary legal advice regarding a potential divorce and has been informed she would be entitled to half of Walker's wealth.
“It's a s***show at the moment. Kyle and Annie are arguing about pretty much everything,” a source has told The Sun.
“She's told him she will only consider giving it another go if he gives her half of his money first.
“She's been told she's entitled to half of his wealth if they split — and doesn't want another penny of her share going to Lauryn.”
An insider shared that the couple has consulted solicitors about reaching a financial settlement.
Walker is reportedly willing for Kilner to receive the money to ensure financial security for her and their children.
The source added that it's been a difficult time for Kilner, who is contemplating divorce amid doubts that their marriage can be salvaged.
This follows reports that Kilner's sister, Sian, gave birth to a baby boy conceived during a secret affair with a father-of-four.
According to MailOnline, Kilner accused her sister of "doing a Lauryn Goodman" by getting involved with a man who was still with his partner and their young children.
Sian admitted: “This is a sensitive situation for Annie, she absolutely doesn't condone my behaviour and is appalled at the upset it may cause.
“I sincerely apologise for any pain I have caused to the families involved, including my own.”
Kilner reportedly refused to attend the hospital when Sian gave birth and has yet to meet the baby. A source added that Walker called Sian a "hypocrite" and has also refused to speak to her.
The Standard has contacted Kyle Walker’s rep for comment.
The reports come after Lauryn Goodman said that she had “no regrets” over their affair earlier this month.
In July, the former flames were embroiled in a highly publicised child maintenance court showdown over 13-month-old daughter Kinara and four year-old son Kairo.
The football player accused Goodman of displaying “insatiable greed” after a judge ruled in his favour.
Appearing on ITV’s This Morning in her first TV interview since the court case, Goodman admitted that she currently has no relationship with Walker, but wouldn’t wish to change what had happened between them.
She explained: “I can't say I have any regrets because my children are my world. They wouldn't be here, they wouldn't be the way they are...”
Drawn on her relationship with Walker - who has four sons with estranged wife Annie Kilner - Goodman replied: “Currently there is no relationship and everything is dealt with through the lawyers, but yeah.”
She added: “It's really, really difficult because obviously Kairo asks a lot about his dad and he formed that bond with him. So, it's just trying to navigate that I think as best you can, because obviously everyone's situations are different, and everyone has unique circumstances, but as long as I kind of put them first, then I feel as if my consciousness is clear with that.”
Goodman continued: “It’s not where I wanted it to go at all, I thought that maybe we'd be dealing with it in private, but it didn't go that way. In the future, obviously, I hope that we can be amicable for our two children, because obviously they should come first.
“You know, they are beautiful children. It has just been really, really hard to navigate, but I just have to do my best I can for them. I kind of live in this kind of closed off bubble with them. You know, they're kind of my safe space so we just try to not listen to outside noise.”
