England star Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner is expecting her fifth baby this summer, it has been revealed.
Annie, 33, who already shares four sons with the Premier League footballer, 35, is due to have her baby in June - after surprising friends and family with the announcement over Christmas.
News of the couple's new arrival is being seen by many as a sign they are trying to get their marriage back on track following Walker's high profile fling with Lauryn Goodman, The Daily Mail reports.
Annie and Walker have told their four sons - Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and Rezon, one - that their fifth baby will arrive in summer and the little one is also going to have a name beginning with 'R' but no further details are known.
The boys are said to be "very excited" about their future sibling, and have been "talking about it a lot", according to an insider.
The source said Annie yearned for another child to "complete" their family and make their marriage stronger.
They added: "Kyle came back from Italy last year and since then Annie made it clear to him that she wanted her boys to have another baby sibling.
"She believes that a baby will help put all their troubles behind them.
"Their family and close friends were shocked when they heard because there are still some issues between them. It's a bit risky because sometimes, a new baby can add more pressure to a marriage. But everybody is very happy for them and doing all they can to support Annie."
Kyle and Annie were childhood sweethearts and tied the knot in 2021.
But their marital difficulties hit headlined when Kyle fathered a boy, Kairo, five, with Lauryn Goodman during a brief split. He went on to father Lauryn's second child, a daughter, Kinara, two, while he was still with Annie.
Lauryn attracted negative publicity when she texted Annie on Boxing Day 2023 to reveal Walker was the father of Kinara, which led Annie to serve him divorce papers.
Walker spent the second half of the season last year with AC Milan to escape the furore surrounding his fling with Lauryn.
After the birth of their youngest son Rezon, Walker and Annie appeared to patch up their relationship, and she in enjoying her current pregnancy.
“Things could not be more different for her this time around," the source added.
Annie and her friends and family are said to be bracing themselves for Lauryn’s reaction on social media, with fear it could get "messy".
Lauryn lost her 2024 court battle with Walker after making financial demands that were described by Judge Edward Hess as "insatiable greed", including a £31,000 Astro Turf, £30,000 for air conditioning, a £70,000 car allowance every three years, plus a car for the nanny and £150,000 annual child maintenance.
The judge said Lauryn had attempted to use the defender, who earns around £160,000 a week, as an "open ended cheque book" and "repeatedly threatened him" to get what she wanted.
The judge also criticised Lauryn for her Boxing Day message to Annie, ruling: "This was intended to, and did, cause distress to the father's wife (Annie).
"I do not accept the mother's explanation that this text message was sent in an attempt to create a good working relationship between the two women in the father's life."
