Kyle Walker is pleased with how Manchester City have started the season, but said he and his teammates are not "resting" on their laurels.
City are unbeaten so far this season, defeating West Ham and Bournemouth 2-0 and 4-0 respectively before drawing 3-3 with Newcastle in a thrilling encounter last weekend.
In recent years City have made a habit of making sluggish starts to the season, but this time around things appear to have changed for the better.
"It is good," Walker said of City's start to the campaign. "We obviously haven't lost yet and we have made a better start than what we have done in the previous seasons. We are happy, but we are not resting on that though."

Walker is right to be cautious; next up for Pep Guardiola's side is a meeting with Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, a team that has given City their fair share of problems in recent years.
Palace have taken points off City in three of their last six Premier League meetings, while they hold the distinction of being the only team to beat City in the Blues' last 54 league meetings played at 3pm on a Saturday - twice in fact.
"It is going to be a tough game at the weekend, but it is about the three points and moving on to the next one. Now the games are coming thick and fast you need to build a run.
"I am not bothered about what other teams are doing. I feel like that if this team hits the ground running and is playing the level of football that can be played then we shouldn’t worry about anyone and they should worry about us.
City's hopes of ending their Palace hoodoo have been boosted by the news that Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha will miss the contest through injury. The Ivory Coast international scored in his side's win at the Etihad last October, and is the profile of player that can exploit City's weaknesses to counter-attacks.
Another top winger, Newcastle's Allan Saint-Maximin, did just that last weekend, tearing past Walker and John Stones at every opportunity.
"I probably gave Saint-Maximin too many actions at the start of the game which got his confidence up," admitted Walker. "[It was] probably one of the toughest [games] that I have had in a long time.
"It is all about the mind and these players play with confidence. It is down to us as full-backs to make sure their confidence is low, we can get on top of them and be a little bit aggressive."
