Just a few days ago, former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord was thought to be headed to Nebraska. However, according to multiple reports, that has all changed and now McCord is considering other options.
You never know what the fit is with a kid and his family when he decides to transfer and what makes or breaks a decision, but soon after news broke about McCord visiting Lincoln, further news surfaced that former OSU commit and 5-star quarterback Dylan Raiola was also considering the Cornhuskers after being a Georgia commit for a long period.
Who knows if that played into the decision, but you can bet that McCord would not be looking to transfer to a place just to sit insert himself into a heated battle once again, especially after leaving the Buckeyes presumably because the competition would be an open one heading into the Cotton Bowl and into next season.

As to where McCord might be looking at now? It’s anyone’s guess, but there have been rumblings to keep an eye on Syracuse.
Of course we’ll continue to wish the former Ohio State signal-caller well, and we’ll stay on top of the news of what college McCord decides to call home going forward.
