It’s common to hear coaches play down the severity of their players’ injuries, so when an issue is described as minor, it naturally invites some skepticism.
However, in the case of Kyle Hamilton’s leg injury, the situation was as unserious as coach John Harbaugh indicated.
The stellar, strong safety ended up missing just one practice.
Kyle Hamilton not only practiced today, but he appeared pretty close to a full participant. He also made a pass breakup of a Jackson to Flowers shot in deep middle part of the field that DC Zach Orr said Hamilton might be the only safety in the league who could’ve made the play

According to the Ravens beat reporters present at practice today, Hamilton not only practiced today, but he also fully examined himself.
Given what was reported about Tuesday’s practice, Hamilton had one of the session’s top plays: he broke up a deep pass intended for wide receiver Zay Flowers.

Hamilton is obviously fine; his injury was just “a knock,” as they would say in soccer, but it’s easy to understand why the Ravens fans were so anxious about his situation.
He’s just that important of a player.
