The Baltimore Ravens are gearing up for another year of competing for a Super Bowl in 2024. To achieve that goal, everyone in the organization, including the players, coaching staff, front office members, and more, will have to do their job.
It’s essential in any franchise to have continuity and chemistry within all levels. Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton made it clear he appreciated the relationship between the Ravens players and coaches, saying that the coaching staff did an excellent job of putting him where he needs to be, calling it a “symbiotic relationship”
“Not really. Honestly, I kind of let them do their job in that area. Also, I was in Year Two last year even though I was playing well, it’s like, you kind of have to earn your stripes before you start doing that. They did a great job putting me where I needed to be and putting everybody in a position to be successful last year, so I really didn’t feel the need to say that going into a game. If there were any disputes or confusion out on the practice field during a game week, they’re all for us saying something like, ‘We don’t see it playing like this, we see it playing like that,’ and we’ll change over the gameplan. I appreciate them, and that’s top-to-bottom with the offense as well [as] special teams. It’s a symbiotic relationship between us and the coaches for sure.”
Hamilton will be entering his third year with plenty of expectations. The coaching staff will once again need to put him in a position to make plays based on his skill set, but he and his teammates will also be able to relay to the staff what they see.
