Tommy Fury was handed a controversial boxing win over YouTube star KSI on another dramatic night for the crossover format of the sport on Saturday.
Despite KSI starting the more active of the two fighters, landing and throwing more punches and Fury having a point deducted for repeated hitting to the back of the head, ‘TNT’ went 10-0 in his professional career with a surprise majority decision victory. KSI fumed at the decision and the two had to be separated after the fight on an evening that definitely failed to live up to the massive hype.
Logan Paul and Dillon Danis finally met in their eagerly-anticipated grudge match, though it ended in a chaotic disqualification as a frustrated Danis attempted a guillotine takedown on his opponent, prompting an ugly mass brawl with security inside the ring. Danis was roundly booed for his performance, in which he barely threw a shot.
