KSI to make history by live streaming Dagenham & Redbridge football match on YouTube

YouTuber and new Dagenham & Redbridge shareholder KSI is set to make history this Saturday by live-streaming the club’s National League South fixture against Hampton & Richmond on his personal YouTube channel.

This marks the first time a match from the National League has been broadcast live on the platform.

The initiative, which has the backing of both the National League and DAZN, follows KSI's unveiling as a Dagenham shareholder on 3 March.

Dagenham’s chief commercial officer, John Grabowski, highlighted the ambition behind the move.

"We appreciate DAZN’s creativity and ambition to partner with KSI and bring our match to a global audience, for free," he stated.

"It is a powerful statement of intent from DAZN and the National League. We want to make history on March 28th, not just in terms of viewership, but also in how non-league football can be seen, shared, and celebrated around the world."

Pete Oliver, chief executive of Growth Markets at DAZN, echoed this sentiment, emphasising the reach of the social media star.

"It’s incredible to see someone with KSI’s global reach and cultural influence shine a spotlight on Dagenham & Redbridge and the National League," Oliver said.

"Moments like this show what’s possible when football, creators, and modern distribution come together to reach entirely new audiences."

National League chief executive Phil Alexander underscored the broader implications for the sport.

"Streaming this game in this way is a landmark moment not only for the National League but also for the wider Non-League game," Alexander commented.

"Partnering with DAZN and tapping into KSI’s global audience gives us a unique chance to showcase what makes this level of football so special."

Dagenham have been in the spotlight since KSI’s arrival, and they appointed player and shareholder Andy Carroll as interim manager last week.

Carroll previously played for Liverpool, Newcastle and West Ham, while also representing England at international level.
