KSI has offered to triple YouTube rival Whindersson Nunes' Kingpyn tournament purse to lure him into a mega-fight this summer.
Nunes has a huge fanbase in his native Brazil and they packed out Wembley Arena to watch him pick up a dominant win over Filipek i n London last weekend at the Kingpyn High Stakes tournament quarter-final stage. The Brazilian has now earned a huge shot against Beta Squad star King Kenny in the semi-final which will be held on June 3 at the 3Arena in Dublin.
His dominant display will likely see him provide a stern test to King Kenny, who will likely play a pantomime villain against an expected raucous Brazilian crowd. However KSI, who fights on his own label Misfits Boxing, has attempted to place an obstacle in the way of the semi-final.
And he has made an alternative offer on social media, tweeting: "Nunes, I loved the energy you and your fans brought to Kingpyn. As soon as you won your fight, majority of the audience left. You need to realise that you’re bigger than Kingpyn. I wanna fight you in a stadium in Brazil. Whatever Kingpyn are paying you, I’ll triple it. Kingpyn can replace you with someone else in the tournament. Let’s do it after my fight in May."
KSI will face professional boxer Joe Fournier on May 13 as part of a bumper pay-per-view bill in London. There will likely be a multitude of options on the table for the British star if he wins, having declared initially he wanted to face the winner of the tournament.

However Nunes could be tempted by the offer given the potential of a lucrative purse, with KSI yet to set up his fight in concrete if he is to progress beyond Fournier. There will likely be alternative options should Nunes decline, including a showdown with fellow countryman Tommy Fury.
And his promoter Kalle Sauerland has suggested there is optimism over a potential deal to face the Love Island star, but nothing is yet concrete. He told Pro Boxing Fans: "Had a great meeting with (Fury's dad) John, we both like the fight. It's about getting a deal done now. Look, John seems to be like a very simple person to deal with which I like, straight shooter.
"We had a good meeting, it was nice to go up to Morecambe and yeah, I'm confident we can get it done. But we're not overlooking obviously Joe Fournier first. "Let's get a deal done first. I'm sure they've got a few other options on the table as well. It's not dissimilar to the situation Jake Paul was in and we don't want to make the same mistakes and we won't."
