KSI thinks short-notice replacement Swarmz would beat Alex Wassabi after fans ridiculed him for the change in opponent.
Wassabi was supposed to serve as the opponent for KSI's first fight in almost three years on August 27, but the American pulled out of the fight much to the disappointment of KSI's fans. Jake Paul had offered to take the fight against KSI for free on short notice and cut down to 180lb, but the Brit opted instead to delay the clash until next year and instead fight novice rapper Swarmz.
Swarmz has never fought before and many fans questioned whether the fight announcement was a joke after the 25-year-old rapper was pictured wearing a t-shirt in the official poster. KSI made a song alongside Swarmz and fellow British rapper Tion Wayne two years ago, which led to Paul mocking KSI for fighting his "friend".
KSI thinks that despite Swarmz's lack of boxing experience, the rapper would beat his original opponent Wassabi, who holds a record of 1-0. "Personally, I think Alex Wassabi would lose to Swarmz. 100 per cent. After I fight Swarmz and obviously beat him, Swarmz and Alex Wassabi should fight. Watch Swarmz win," KSI said on his YouTube channel.

KSI hasn't fought since winning his professional debut against fellow YouTuber Logan Paul in 2019. The pair previously fought to a draw in their white-collar bout the year before, with the former rivals recently turning business partners by launching their new Prime Energy drink.
The Brit's manager, Mams Taylor, has insisted that KSI has a "private feud" with Swarmz dating back to when they made a song together. KSI has promised to fight a tougher opponent for his next fight after many fans expressed their disappointment in Swarmz serving as the short-notice replacement.
"I haven't fought in three years, this is supposed to be a warm-up fight. Nobody is supposed to care who I fight because I'm going to beat them anyway. Even if they try their hardest, they are not going to beat me. Like I said before whether it's Alex or it's Swarmz, I'm fighting so I can get rid of the cobwebs and be active again in the boxing scene," he added.
"After Swarmz, do you think I'm just going to be fighting nobodies? Of course not, I'm going to be upping the levels. There's a long-term goal in all of this, it's not just beating Jake Paul. It's about creating YouTube boxing events that everyone is excited for. I'm trying to make something bigger than just one-off YouTube boxing events."
