KSI admits to being frustrated with quality of professional boxing opponent

KSI was left "disappointed" after easily dispatching of professional fighter Luis Alcaraz Pineda at London's O2 Arena.

The YouTube star - real name JJ Olatunji - made his ring return after a hiatus of over 1,000 days by beating rapper Swarmz and professional fighter Pineda in one night last weekend. Much was made of Olatunji's opponent, who came into the fight with two victories and five defeats as a professional, in addition to an extensive amateur background.

However, he quickly proved to be no match for Olatunji, who dropped him seven times en route to his second victory of the night. The YouTube fighter was left frustrated at the quality of his opponent, who failed to provide him with a significant challenge.

"Bro, look. If anything, I didn't shock the world because it was just too easy," Olatunji said in his first YouTube video since recording victory over Pineda. "I wanted more of a challenge, I was frustrated. I was there like 'yes, let's see what a pro boxer is all about'. Dead.

"Is this it? Is this what the big fuss is about? How do you have a pro record. Unbelievable, man. I am so disappointed. I expected a lot better. I trained so hard for this.

"He had so many amateur fights as well and he gave me that. I wasn't even tired I was even doing push-ups between rounds, it was honestly nothing. It wasn't it, I was so disappointed, I expected more. I was on my A-game and he was dead.

"If anything, Swarmz did better. I am sure the amount of money he is going to get will do wonders for Mexico. I wish he did more for it, I was here for a fight and you didn't give it to me."

Olatunji was criticised in the run-up to the event for his choice of rapper Swarmz - real name Brendan Scott - after previous opponent Alex Wassabi withdrew from the event. He added Pineda in a bid to make the evening more of a challenge but easily dispatched both rivals, and will fight next in January.

It is understood Olatunji will look to make a significant step up in his next challenge after he called out YouTube star Slim Albaher, who won convincingly on the card, alongside Tommy Fury and controversial former kickboxer Andrew Tate. Afterwards could lie a shot against bitter rival Jake Paul, which is expected to be the pinnacle fight in influencer boxing.

Olatunji has already made a mega offer to Paul, writing on Twitter : I'm going to send you a contract. We fight next year. Wembley Stadium. Winner of the fight takes all. 100 per cent of the purse will be on the line. Put your money where your mouth is and let’s finally end this. Will you accept Jake Paul?"

Paul later replied: "Good morning guy 'fighting' rapper with t-shirt on. Your hometown and winner takes all. 1000 per cent I accept."
