The confirmation hearing for Kristi Noem, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to oversee the Department of Homeland Security, has commenced. Noem is currently appearing before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, where she will be fielding questions from both Democratic and Republican senators.
The hearing was initially slated for Tuesday; however, a delay in Noem's FBI background check necessitated its postponement, as per a Congressional aide.
