Kris Boyd senses Rangers 'overhaul' is looming and is convinced Gio van Bronckhorst doesn't trust squad

Concerned Kris Boyd thinks Gio van Bronckhorst's recent action have shown he doesn't trust his full Rangers squad.

The Dutchman didn't make a single change in the narrow win over struggling St Johnstone in tough conditions at McDiarmind Park.

It follows just one substitution during the draw with Motherwell on Sunday.

Former Ibrox hero Boyd reckons that could show that the Dutchman isn't happy with his options in the Rangers dressing room.

Celtic have addressed Kris Boyd (SNS Group)

When asked about not making a change during the game Boyd told Sky Sports: "No he didn't, and he only made one at the weekend.

"I don't really thinks Giovanni van Bronckhorst trusts his squad. I think when you look at the European games, and the effort but in during the games against Borussia Dortmund there wasn't many changes as well.

"I don't know, you look at Borna Barisic; he plays a lot of games and then he doesn't find himself in.

"Leon Balogun comes back in, Calvin Bassey goes back there, Glen Kamara comes back and Ryan Jack comes back in. Steven Davis, where is he? So there is not really a lot of changes from the manager.

"You kind of get the feeling that if you want that opportunity, it's not really coming for the Rangers players.

"I think that the ones have got the jersey, if they keep performing, there is a reluctance to change it.

'It maybe tells us there might be an overhaul to come in the summer.

"I think the last few games have told us he doesn't trust a squad a lot."
