KPMG announces four new partners in Scotland

KPMG UK has promoted four employees to the level of partner.

The accountancy firm promoted Arleen Arnott, Paula Holland, Deborah May and Eddie Norrie to the position of partners of the professional services firm on 1 April 2022.

Arleen Arnott becomes a partner within KPMG’s Financial Services team covering the broad spectrum of banking, insurance and wealth and asset management. Edinburgh based Arnott joined KPMG in 2015, following 25 years with Standard Life.

Deborah May becomes a partner within KPMG’s tax team. May based in Aberdeen has worked both in professional practice and in-house for more than 17 years, including six years in the energy industry as a head of tax at a global oilfield services organisation.

Paula Holland becomes a partner with KPMG’s private enterprise audit team and is also Aberdeen based.

She works closely with private equity backed, family-owned and manager-owned businesses across Scotland.

Eddie Norrie becomes a partner within KPMG’s tax team and is based in Edinburgh. Norrie leads a Scotland wide team advising employers across different sectors on global mobility, structuring employee rewards and incentives, and UK employment taxes.

All four will work closely with KPMG UK’s Scotland senior partner James Kergon to drive growth for the firm in Scotland.

On 1 April, KPMG also announced the promotion of 26 other staff, including ten new senior managers, 14 new managers and two new assistant managers across its Scottish offices.

In Scotland KPMG UK employs 1,000 people across its offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
